We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fabrication Operative to join our fast-paced production team. This hands-on role involves working with metal components, interpreting engineering drawings, and assembling high-quality products that meet exacting standards.& CO. LTD

Key Responsibilities

· Carry out general metalwork activities including sawing, drilling, grinding, and operating hand presses

· Follow detailed assembly instructions, work-to-lists, and engineering drawings

· Generate route cards and update production records using SAP

· Assemble components according to project specifications

· Perform quality checks and report any non-conformances

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment

· Comply with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards

· Support other duties as required to meet business needs

Skills & Expertise

· Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings

· Experience using metalworking tools (cutting saws, pillar drills, grinding wheels, hand tools) preferred — training provided for the right candidate

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

· Capable of performing quality inspections and documenting results

· Comfortable using SAP or similar systems to update work records

· Effective communication skills in English (oral and written)

· Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

· Flexible, reliable, and conscientious approach to work

· Positive attitude with the ability to adapt to changing prioritie.

Assembly Operative

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our team, where you will play a key role in assembling wiper arms and components that meet the rigorous standards of safety, durability, and reliability demanded by our customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

· Select components from stock based on Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements

· Assemble mechanical and electrical components to specification

· Operate and maintain hand tools and air tools (e.g. rivet guns)

· Conduct inspections, record findings, and report non-conformances

· Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained correctly

· Pack and label parts safely and accurately for the next operation

· Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail

· Follow company procedures, instructions, and engineering drawings

· Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies

· Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area

· Undertake other duties as required to support business needs

Experience & Skills Required

· Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

· Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings

· PC literate; experience with SAP is desirable but not essential

· Familiarity with quality control and inspection processes

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards

· Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
